This April, we are bringing congregations and food lovers from all over the Buffalo area together for an exuberant weekend of food, fellowship, and friendly competition. Local pastors are stepping out of the pulpit and into the kitchen to prove who has the best culinary chops in town.
But they aren't just cooking for bragging rights—they are cooking for you! Modeled after the famous Buffalo food festivals, this event lets you be the ultimate taste-tester.
How the Cook-Off Works
We have traded standard entry fees for a fun, family-friendly "Tasting Ticket" experience! Here is what you can expect when you walk through the doors:
- Tasting Stations: Purchase a bundle of tasting tickets at the door (or online in advance) and use them to sample signature dishes from every participating pastor.
- Celebrity Chef Judges: Watch local culinary professionals lovingly critique our pastors' dishes live on stage to crown the technical winner.
- The People’s Choice Award: Grab a few "Voting Tokens" along with your food tickets and drop them in the jar for your favorite dish. You help decide who takes home the coveted crowd-favorite trophy!
- Food, Fun, and Fellowship: Enjoy live music, community vendors, and exclusive event merchandise to commemorate the day.
Bring your family, your appetite, and your church pride. Will your pastor take home the Golden Spatula, or will they get chopped?
