Focus: The ultimate demonstration of kingly authority.
The Core Idea: Jesus looks at His disciples and says, "You call me Teacher and Lord, and rightly so, for that is what I am. If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet." We close the quarter with the ultimate picture of Kingdom dominion: true kings do not use their authority to dominate people; they use their authority to out-serve the world. The basin and the towel are the final, non-negotiable symbols of a church that is sent to transform.
